At last the University of Buea launches the MSc program after several years of absence. This year saw an incredible increase in the departmental staff with five new PhD holders joining the former lecturers. Physics students and the entire university community were very elated to see this come true. Nine students are currently enrolled in the Masters program eventhough the department had wished to have only five students.

This academic year, Physics freshmen will be previleged to be welcome in the presence of more than 20 graduating students; as this coincides with The Communion with Graduands. Learn more about these Social Events.
This grandiose occasion will be held a few days before graduation.
On this same day, UBAAP launches its new website, donated by some alumni members.

UBAAP owes gratitude to the following alumni members who designed this website: Amin T. Tazifor, George T. Ntani, Moses C. Ntam, Jolinos V. Ngilahpong. UBAAP is proud to be amongst the first associations to have a website. What is very perculiar about this is that this site was designed by its former members.

This website will be launched alongside Welcoming of Freshmen and Communion with Graduands.

Following the launching of the UBAAP elections some weeks ago, there was a very heated campaign which came to an end on Thursday, 11 November 2004. On Friday, 12 November 2004, the elections, which saw the participation of about 100 students took place in the University campus. It was coordinated by the outgoing President of UBAAP(Ntam Moses), assisted by The Student Delegate of the University of Buea(Yakubu Idriss) and the Vice-President of FSSA(Ngone Victor).

The following students were elected President and Vice-President:
      President:             Nzenze Emmanuel Epie(Level 400)
      Vice-President:       Njang Mbah(Level 300)

It is UBAAP's tradition to commemorate with graduating students on the eve of the University of Buea Convocation Ceremony.This year UBAAP communes with more than 20 graduating students on the occasion of "Communion with Graduands." This will take place alongside the Welcoming of Freshmen and the launching of the new UBAAP website.
